This policy explains how R R Agency (“we”, “us”), Bidhan Market Road, Siliguri, West Bengal, handles personal data received through this website. It is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 in mind.
1. What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, business or shop name, town or city, State, mobile number, e-mail address (optional), the nature of your enquiry and your message, together with your confirmation that you are 18 or older and your consent.
- Technical data: like any website, our web server receives your IP address and browser details. We use a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address for up to one hour only to limit repeated form submissions. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.
We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN or other ID numbers, bank or card details, or images of tickets through this website, and we ask you not to send them.
2. Why we use it
We use enquiry details for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry, by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. We do not use them for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers that make the website and e-mail work (our web host and e-mail provider), or where the law requires us to.
3. Consent
We process enquiry details on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the contact below; we will then stop using and delete your details, unless we must keep them by law. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries are e-mailed to us and are not stored in the website database. We delete enquiry e-mails 12 months after our last contact with you, unless a business relationship begins, in which case records are kept as long as the law (for example, tax law) requires.
5. Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to the website administration and our e-mail is limited and password-protected. If a personal data breach occurs, we will act as required by law, including informing affected persons where required.
6. Your rights
You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and raise a grievance. We will respond within a reasonable time and within any period the law prescribes. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Children
This website is intended for adults. The enquiry form may only be used by persons aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
