R R Agency is a family-run wholesale trading business on Bidhan Market Road, Siliguri. We have worked in the lottery trade for two decades, supplying State-organised paper lottery tickets to retailers and trade partners in the Siliguri area.
Our story
Founded on trust. Carried forward by the next generation.
R R Agency was founded by the late Jagannath Saha and the late Prafulla Kr. Panda. They built the business on personal trust and grew it the slow, dependable way. They kept their word to every retailer, kept the accounts straight and treated each trade relationship as something meant to last.
Over two decades in Siliguri’s lottery trade, those habits became the agency’s reputation.
The second generation
Today, Samiran Saha, Director and CEO, leads R R Agency as a second-generation entrepreneur. His work has two halves. He protects the name and standards his elders built, so that a retailer dealing with R R Agency today gets the same reliability their predecessors did. He also grows the business: strengthening relationships with retailers and sub-stockists across North Bengal, and running the agency with the care for accurate records and legal compliance that today’s trade requires.
The founders’ legacy is the reason R R Agency exists. Looking after that legacy, and building on it, is the work of the generation that has inherited it.

Our background
Over twenty years the business has grown through steady, everyday work: keeping retailers supplied on time, keeping records straight, and dealing with trade partners in the same straightforward way year after year.
We are a private business. The lotteries we deal in are organised by the respective State Governments, which fix the schemes, conduct the draws, publish the results and settle prize claims under their own rules.
Experience in the trade
- Stockist operations – receiving, organising and supplying stock for each draw on schedule.
- Retailer and sub-stockist coordination – regular contact with counters on draw times, stock movement and notices.
- Records and reconciliation – challans and trade accounts kept carefully, so that balances can be checked and agreed with partners.
- Compliance – attention to GST, tax deduction and other legal requirements that apply to the trade.
How we do business
Our relationships with trade partners have lasted because they rest on reliability. We say what we can do, do it on time, and put commercial terms in writing. When information comes from an official source, we point people to that source rather than repeating it second-hand.
Trust
Long relationships built on keeping our word.
Transparency
Clear records, written terms, honest information.
Consistency
The same dependable service, draw after draw.
Accountability
We answer for our work and correct mistakes promptly.
Responsible communication
We do not advertise prizes, promise winnings or encourage anyone to buy more tickets. Lottery is for adults only. We regularly warn customers and retailers about fraudsters who telephone or message people claiming a “prize” and asking for a fee to release it – a fee that no genuine organiser ever charges.
